99.50% of gold recovered returned as fine gold???

Hi i have been buying scrap gold for the last few years and sell it as jewellery for 97% of the london fix. I am allways looking to gain a few pence and have been offered 99% by a big refiner or settelment of 99.5% in fine gold. The refining costs £50 per kg of metal submited. Is anyone offering better settlement terms in the uk than this.
Any pointers on who to pester next would be great. Cheers dave. Birmingham jewellery quarter uk.

Just a quick question: How much material do you submit for refining each time? How many troy oz?

Hi its approx 2kg of mixed ct jewellery. It comes in approx 40% on a melt. So approx 800g of fine gold.
