Hello,

I'm from Kathmandu, Nepal and this is my very first post in this forum. I am very much interested in automatic Gold refining systems, and I have heard that there are such machines exist that are made in Italy. Can someone please help me find the manufacturer or suppliers of the machines? Thank you.

Hello Bajra,

You can find them here: http://goldmachinery.com/taxonomy/term/322 but they cost a lot.

People who understand the process are designing and building packaged turnkey units
and charging a lot of money for them. I built a blast furnace for under $800 in Hong Kong and could have easily
it for $2700.00 or more. It accomadated #30 Morgan clay graphite crucibles that could pour 1000 ounces Ag.

At Wesgo Metals in Belmont we used to use CoorsTec Evaporation dishes on gas fired hotplates inside
of custom built fume hoods connected to a $1,000,000.00 acid gas scrubing system. We also had
double jacketed glass lined Phaudler reactors connected to the scrubber.

I have been looking around a while and find this gold refining machinery very appealing and
I I know that the procedures, (not the machinery) could easily be reproduced at a fraction
of the cost simply starting with the items below.

You can set up your own turnkey refinery
PPE, Personel protective equipment
Security
Vault
Benches
A Fume Hood
Acid Gas Scrubber
Stirrer Hot Plates
Wash Bottles 250 - 500 ml
Deionized Water Filtration System
Heavy Duty Pyrex Beakers
30 Gallon PPL Cooling and Precipitation Tanks
Filter Funnel CoorsTec
Filter Adapers
Filtrate Flasks Just a simple 5 or 6 gallon glass water bottle can be used with a funnel adaptor
Bulk Chemicals
Electric Kiln or Big torch, Blast Furnace or Induction Furnace
Crucible and Tongs
Iron Molds
Shot Tank
Number and Letter Stamps

Easy

I am working on a gold and silver refining blog and constantly updating it.

Steve, we do have section on forum where you can promote whatever you do have for sale. Please do not do that in your posts as it is form of advertising - it is called spam and it is against forum rules.
Also, your blog may interest some people, put a link to your signature line, there really is no need to mention it in many posts.
I do not wish to offend you, my english is still not perfect, I am just offering friendly advice.

Sorry I am very poor at writing and just trying to get a bunch of old notes down

in the blog while I have time to do it being flat broke on my rear with not much to do.

I am not very good with grammar and making it interesting either.

Hi,
Friend of mine in UK recommend a Italian company " Fioa International " , if you type this on the internet I am sure you will get it.
I am looking for Induction smelting furnace

I may be wrong, but I expect that induction smelting (unlike induction melting---they are not the same thing) is not likely to be successful unless the induction furnace is operated at an unusually high frequency. It is also my opinion that induction is not used for smelting, for that very reason, along with others.

Do you wish to melt, or smelt?
