So this was my first time trying to recover gold from computer scrap for a school project, and I'm proud to say that it worked! After adding Sodium bisulfite the gold started to precipitate and it was all good.
Now I'm aware that people go right ahead and melt it right ahead but I want to store my gold powder in a vial and I want it to be dry, not in solution. (I decanted and cleaned the solution till it became colorless btw) so I want to put it in a vial without the solution but in the same way I'm afraid of using the filter paper because I dont want gold powder to stick to it permanently and lose it, what should I do?
