Yep, residential and commercial alarm equipment. Unfortunately, I don't have any more of this equipment to post pictures of and I no longer have the pictures I did have but, here's a detailed description of the parts and who has them. The parts are both manufactured by Ademco see ademco.com for pics of both. The first is called a 6150RF keypad. If memory serves it contains a gold plating around all four edges and under some components on the board itself. The plating is more thin than what you find on computer boards both in width and thickness but, it's there. The second is actually a very good source of gold. It is the Ademco AlarmNet radio communicator...or whatever. In the alarm industry we called it a back up radio or an alarmnet. There is gold plating on the boards and the best part is what I consider a very fair amount in the antenna and it's mounting bracket. The gold strips beautifully and slowly in the electrolytic cell.

I know the largest user of this equipment here in KC is Protection One. Speaking of which I need to get back out there because they pitch probably 20 of these a week! There's enough gold on it that I'll get in a dumpster for it! If you have the time and desire I would definitely check out any Ademco dealers in your area. Have Fun!
