...it's not Ammens either (so that book fits to the topic of this thread ) and it isn't even complete, but the half you can read, is very interesting: The chemistry of gold extraction

I'm not able to download the file, goes half ways then quits. So I have not actually seen the book, just following a url which was supposed lead me to Ammens.

The download worked for me, but it was the same version of Hoke's book available here on the forum, complete with missing page 63.
