In many HP inkjets, the flat ribbon cable that runs between the print head and the main circuit board has gold-plated tips.

Also, below the print head is a small circuit board with gold-plating.

In general, anything with a keypad (like all-in-ones) should contain some gold.

i know im a little late here but most of your ink cartridges have gold on them as well

It's never too late to add to a thread. Even if you resurrected something from a year before and added new information, it's always welcome.

The only question is whether empty ink cartridges are still re-sellable with the gold-plated contact points removed.
