Hi Everyone!
Thought I would introduce myself. My name is Duncan, and I am in Reno.
I have worked as a fire assayer/chemist for about 7 odd years. I am currently working in an assay lab.
I won't let out too much, because I am not pushing my company on anyone. I have really enjoyed reading the posts and processes.
You all have been a great help with a few little projects I have been working on. Currently I am recovering Silver Chloride from our process, and have been converting to silver via NaOH and Dextrose. We throw away quite a bit and was spending the winter months seeing if we could recover the silver and re-use in our process to save a little $$ for the company.
If anyone has any questions about getting assay supplies, the fire assay process, or general lab chemistry/safety I will be more than happy to help.
Cheers!
