Hi folks. Been studying hoke and other sources for about six weeks now. Came to this site via the link on scrapper forum and surprised and overwhelmed by the sheer volume of great info. Thank you all. Im collecting old computer materials and stripping them down after work in the evenings. Ive accumulated most of the needed materials and safety equipment but have not yet started my first run. I was going to wait and show the results that you have helped me earn but figured since i still have a couple weeks to go i should introduce myself out of courtesy. My name is tim and i keep numerous fishtanks.

Welcome to the forum Tim. When I was young, we raised and sold tropical fish. We had over 20 tanks in our house.

Hello and thanks for the welcome. Don't mistake my silence for inactivity or disinterest, I'm busily reading over old threads. I've realized I'm best off to just shut up and let the adults speak...lol. an old saying in the fishkeeping hobby goes like this..."nothing good happens quickly in an aquarium". So I'm patiently plucking boards disassembling everything i can find cheap at second hand stores and putting 2-3 hours a day into studying hoke and this forum. Thank you all again for assembling such a comprehensive and vast database of information. I hope you all feel that keeping the passion fueled in a noob like myself is worth all the work you've done.
