Has anyone managed to make or use a barrel plating (deplater) for the sulfuric cell? I'm finding myself with an overwhelming volume of pins from the telecomm boards and I'm not even half done processing them.
I recall Lasersteve mentioned he was going to try one, has there been any progress in that regard?

Thanks
Tom.

There is a post by....Catfish i believe showcasing the barrel system he developed, along with some youtube videos showing it in action. It may take a bit of searching unless someone has a link to it. It looked to be a good system.

These plating barrels are quite expensive but they work great. Sometimes, you can find a bargin on a used one. They come in all sizes and are made by several manufacturers.

Thank guys.
The nulltime unit is a nice setup, I would probably have to upsize it a bit but it looks easy to build.
I still have some very fine stainless screen that I made my cell basket with that would make for a nice mini barrel and become the anode. Buying a commercial unit would not be feasible for this once in a lifetime task but it sure does look nice.

I'm still weighing my options due to the volume of pins. Even with some heavy reading the cyanide method looks to be very efficient but I'm a tad leary.. too many old spy movies in memory I think.. lol

Back to the books.
Thanks again guys.
