Best process for relay points made from palladium and silver

Hi any advice for pd+ag relay points? These are cuted with some base material. Base material looks like brass.

Dissolve in Nitric, precipitate Silver as Silver Chloride using Salt or HCl. Filter then cement Palladium using Copper or Precipitate using DMG

Wich way is better? Hcl or salt?

Dissolving the Salt first adds more to the solution volume but doesn't hurt. There's a little more stirring if its not dissolved.
HCl is better if you have a lot of Silver in Solution.
