First an foremost thank you for the support the members of this site have lent boardsort.com over the years. You have shared both your trust in our company as well as fair and honest criticisms with those seeking to sell their e-scrap materials. For that we are greatly appreciative.
Recently we launched a redesigned website with robust features including a public message forum, self service price quotes and a growing material database. We have also improved our customer service with a publicly published telephone number and posted hours and days of operation.
Each business day we have been making a point to write a blog style post covering the various aspects of selling from grading, to shipping, to making the most profit from your material. In fact, our new slogan is "Learn - Sell - Profit" which really is our stated goal. The more educated our customers become, the more efficient the sale becomes which in turn increases profits for both the seller and the buyer. Over time we will have quite an encyclopedia on e-scrap preparation and grading.
This new streamlined website and back-end system allows us to spend more time interacting with customers and less time repeatedly responding to simple quote requests. Those are handled automatically now if you chose, or the old fashioned way (email) is still welcome. It also cuts down on the number of emailed material identification requests (which are still welcome). By having a public forum where users can openly post "what is it" pictures, the idea is that folks will be able to identify the material themselves by simply following or searching the forums. This saves the user and us a considerable amount of time. The user will not have to wait for an answer assuming it is already posted, likely several times, in our forum. This frees us up to answer other questions and emails more efficiently and quicker.
As always, our real-time payout rates are publicly posted for all to see. Our automated quotes will lock those rates in for 5 days. We are committed to providing the most up-front no gimmicks service as possible. While we may not be the largest or most popular e-scrap buyer in the market, you will always be treated with respect and you will have our word that we will do our best to see that you maximize the value of your material, even if that means telling you to sell it elsewhere when we feel you could potentially lose money with us.
