I was able to find the book written by
Hoke and Ammen
Thanks to you guys in this forum
But how can I find the books written by
Smith and Rose

Hoke, Smith, Rose, Amman

Here is Rose's;
http://www.archive.org/details/metallurgygold00roserich

Smith;
http://www.archive.org/details/samplingandassa00smitgoog

Just search under "all media" on that site for others, that way
it searchs everywhere for what you are looking for instead of
in just one section.

They are also downloadable on Google Books

Smith:
http://books.google.com/books?id=i_JMAAAAMAAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=smith+precious+metals

Rose:
5th Edition 1906
http://books.google.com/books?id=4ikKAAAAIAAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=rose+metallurgy+gold

3rd Edition 1898
http://books.google.com/books?id=iJFBAAAAIAAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=rose+metallurgy+gold

All of Rose's 7 editions contain a little different information. He tended to delete info he found out of date in the later editions. For example, the info on pyritic smelting found in the 3rd Ed. is not found in the 5th Ed. I would suggest downloading both of them.

Hi Folks
Thanks for your help
I was able to download the book by Rose

But no this one
Is it free or do I have to buy this
Smith;
http://www.archive.org/details/sampling ... 00smitgoog

Thanks

The link that GSP posted above works. The internet archive linked to the google site anyway. The internet archive, when you check all media types in the search box, will search google,msn, and many other sites like college libraries, etc....

Sorry to be a bother but i cant do this thing
How come the other link is so easy to download from

Smith;
Thanks

The link in my post works, but the one in your post down further does not. Just click on the link in my post, and then pick what you want to download it with. It has the google pdf link there, that is what I use, but has other options also.

how do i download from this page
http://books.google.com/books?id=i_JMAAAAMAAJ&oe=UTF-8&pgis=1

On the left there are two boxes; read this book, and under that is
download pdf.
Download it or open the pdf from there, and then save it.
