I read tin can do it and releases SO2, but I was wondering if someone knew of another way.

( stink ) then inject air into the chamber. The air will have been passed thru a small ozone generator. Just two plates and a H.V. Transformer ( cheap ). Then pump the resulting mixture of gas thru chilled water that has also been ozone enriched. At the cooler temperatures the water will hold a higher concentration of O3. The result should be sulfuric acid.
Note to self: Read the topic. Somehow i missed the important part that you just wanted a So2 generator.
