Got this nice kit of 1/4 watt 5% carbon film resistors, its a mixture of different sizes, all brand new in packages and in this nice little drawer kit, already labeled. Do they have silver content or just electrical that i should pop on ebay? or if someone here can use them i would accept offers of trade. These are packages of 20 of each and range from 2.7ohm to 560k ohm. so after looking them up there about 5.00 bucks a package, i figure retail its about 600 bucks worth of material new. I would cut that in half in trade.

Dear ilikesilver,
Unfortunately, there are no precious metals in these resistors, only carbon and nickel. You would be better off selling them on eBay instead, as you would get much more money than scrap. Also, be sure to try to get as clear of a picture as possible when selling them online, as bidders or buyers will want to know exactly what you are selling. Hope this helps, and good luck on your sales! 8)
