After reading on forum for one an year and making a lot mistakes and alot inhalation of fumes, I want start a thread related to only cellphone recycling
One thing that I learn is the best to do is pick up scrap on low prices and sort it and sell with some profit
Assure you are not going to be rich with it
The reason I am interested with cell phones only( while other high yield scrap can be seen around) is that I still can get old cell phones like 1990 to 2010 models
I start to combine the both steps refining and reselling
Picking scrap from local yards, shops, villages
Off course I find some old cpu's ,gold filled/ gold plated watches but thats another story
(I want keep these boards to process for PMS)
I want resell such boards as market prices are high.
Now the plan I am working right now to refine the boards is
Manual saperation of components ( labour is cheap in Pakistan)
Conecter pins
Clean boards
For chips. Incinerate crush and nitric wash then go for gold
For mlccs burn crush and smelt with a collecter ( wait till it reach 20kg)
For pins. Incinirate crush and go for gold
Boards incinirate and smelt to make dore bar and sell it
I want use impact mill to granulate plastic from pins to free the pins and go for sulphuric cell( I can process plated watches with it)
Incinerating clean boards is harmful without an after burner and scrubber( as I do)
So impact mill to plastic cover pins is good idea?
Instead of incinirating boards any good idea?
Any plan to recover all metals from boards?
