I thought some of you smaller refiner would like to see a youtube.com commercial refiner.

It is at URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBnoLWGjytY

I just thought it was interesting.

Thanks Palladium. I like the digester, 700 gallons! The power sifter was quite cool as well.

When I first saw the power sifter, I was thinking that it might help some of you refiner's to have something on a smaller scale.

Especially those who pyrolize certain chips.

The digester is called an Ambi and the company that made them has long since gone out of business. The ambi was a water jacketed fiberglass bowl with a mixer to keep the material slowly moving in the acid. It got its name from the fact that it was not a pressurized reactor (like Phaudlers) but it operated at ambient pressure.

They were great digesters for aqua regia work, I wish someone still made them.
