I have been collecting all sorts of gold plated scrap for a while now.
Mostly from electronics and rj pins.
What is the best way to process this?
Some of these things are completely plated.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

For solid or thick gold plated items the concentrated sulfuric stripping cell is very efficient.
It leaves base metals like copper and brass alone and strips the gold layer off.
For thin items the cupric chloride leach aka AP (acid peroxide) would be best imo.

Please be aware that you will be creating toxic chemicals, toxic metal salts in solution and dangerous gases with this craft and safety precautions are essential.

Study the safety section and the processes you consider and ask if you have trouble with something.

Present your plan here before you attempt anything so we can keep you safe and successful in your learning curve.
