Denoxing

I was denoxing my AR after recovering pgms from a catalytic converter. I accidentally left it on the hot plate too long and now it is crusty and hard. I added some hcl thinking that would make it all liquid again, but theres still some crust on the bottom. Is this garbage now or will the hcl start working slowly?

It should not be garbage. But it is strange that HCl and water does not dissolve it. Try filtering I would say.

well it finally dissolved it after a little while, I just wasn't patient. Just added my final hcl and there a powdery substance whitish grayish yellowish settling to the bottom?!?!?!?

HCl 1stly dissolved the material and then
precipitated it?
