Direct Tv Recievers

Hello every one,

I am a newbie and have been reading very valuable information from some of you. I have been scraping metal for a couple months on the side. However after finding the forum I have begun to accumulate gold from electronics. I have been given several Direct TV receivers with access cards that have a gold plated sim cards. It also seems that they have various components that also have gold. I will try to post some pictures tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone has ever extracted gold from these receivers. I also have several TV’s and was wondering if anyone knows areas where they may have some gold in them? Thank you!

I scrapped one of these receivers last week. I didn't see anything with gold besides the smart card. I saved the big chips for the grinder but don't have high expectations.
