I have started investing in silver but am here to learn how to buy and refine gold.... not really to make money, more so to a) enjoy doing it b) in case the economy is going the way I think it's going.....

You'll get a leg up on procedures by following the link in lazersteve's sig line, plus a download of Hoke's book is almost mandatory, so you'll understand how these things are accomplished.
You can find a link for the download of Hoke's book in the sig line of many of the readers. That may require a little reading on your part, but you should be doing that anyway, before posting questions that are easily answered by reading.
