I have a bunch of fiber CPUs removed from Intel slot 1 boards. I have removed the lids and they have gold wire and some internal gold under the lid (ring?).
I would like to know the best way to process these...HCL/CL or AR?
I imagine in either case the precipitate will have to be processed a second time to effectively eliminate the base metals .
Also have some ceramic older pentiums, from what I have read AR seems to be the best approach. (read this line as a question)
I haven't done any processors, just thought I would ask before jumping in.
Thanks!
