flame test for gold dissolved solution is possible or not?
one person told me that gold vapourisation point is too high so it is not possible.is it true?
when i condensed the vapours of gases it shows positive for gold test using stannous chloride.but again that persons told me that it is not the vapours but it is sprutting of minute droplets at a time of reaction which will be suck using a suction blower in scrubber and so it will be tested positive for gold.
vapourisation point of gold metal and vapourisation point of gold dissolved ar solution are same or different?

gold in chloride solutions will go up in smoke.

miners roasting ore with salt would loose gold in the yellow vapors.

never heard of flame test for gold, metals usually color the flame and that color can be indicator of metal involved.

stannous chloride test of solution works.

Unfortunately, the intensities of visible gold flame colors
are too weak. For silver, red-blue are the same as Bunsen
flame colors
