Currently unemployed, looking for a good job with a life savings benefit, 401k
Hobbies - i love visiting my beautiful neighbor, who we go to all kinds of concerts in and around my area
Interest - learning as much as I possibly can about the exploding crypto which I believe will be our future currency, may be decades but will replace the physical dollar but the crypto markets will still be backed by the US dollar
Been interested in precious metals for about 5 years or so, I didn't even know 14kt was a higher value than 10kt. So I'm trying to learn as much as possible, hoarding gold and other precious metals may One day become essential way
What am I looking for in this community, honestly I was just searching what 14ktGODG actual meaning, which in turn led me here
As I just mentioned looking for the correct definition of 14ktGODG led me to check out this specific link. Then saw some misleading and or just wrong answers

In the USA, when it comes to items like this, the legal environment states the buyer's responsibility of "due diligence". This is because jewelry gold and dental gold have different requirement under the law. Jewelry gold has strict definitions. Dental gold has none and could be litterally anything. It is not regulated as jewelry gold. So it is up to your due diligence to determine if this item has any value other than some 14K gold plating.

The beauty of our open forum is everyone can, and often does, post their beliefs. But usually in the end you can make a better informed decision from reading the thread. And your beliefs, if posted respectfully and with good intentions, are always valued.

Welcome to the forum, there is much you can learn here about refining.
