I've melted some aluminum [from soda cans] using a charcoal foundry and then an electrical resistance foundry but that's my limit of experience with dealing with metals 'refining'.
I have some silver, I have _plenty_ of computer scrap/'junk'; there's the internal debate between 'usable' and 'junk'.
I like shiney things, I like refining things. It'd be cool to turn old 'junk' into precious shiney things while not dying in the process.
