I can only say i once made a hcl and peroxide solution, then as peroxide ran out i thought stuff ain't acidic.... somehow the hcl was concentrating eventho no reaction cuz no peroxide, had a LOT of free acid.

Peroxide don’t change the pH much, which is why it is preferred over Bleach.
 
I thought I ran out of acid but I were very wrong, it simply didn't get any reaction without the peroxide.

That means that there is no more material that reacts with HCl alone.

It was a simple warning to not forget a solution can be way more acidic than first thought, I admit i were off topic.
