hello friends

my name is jeff and i live in decatur, alabama.i love the subject of scrap metal of all sorts as i have dealt with it in some form most of my life.i have alot of practical knowledge but not alot of technical knowledge and im so glad to have found this site.knowledge is power,and this forum holds plenty of power.ive dabbled in stripping gold plate for years but never for myself,always for my father who passed a year ago this month.ive also tried my hand at prospecting for a few years and did fairly well.i am disabled and have time to devote to this "hobby".i never knew there was such a large group of like minded people that share my quest to make something from nothing.my thanks to all the people who make this forum what it is.

Welcome Jeff, we have some great tutorials here im sure you would love them. I would recommend using the search function for the sandbath method to depopulate cell phone boards. I believe there is a great YouTube video to go with it. Enjoy this place it certainly is special.
