Hello All,
This is my first post, ive just found this site, and i can not believe the wealth of information contained within these pages!
Ive been looking for a site such as this for around a year?

Anyway, im from Essex, England, male 43 yr old, married with 2 kids, and have been extremly interested in this sort of thing for a while but have never managed to get round to doing anything about it..( lazy ) :!:

I started collecting copper in any shape or form, and in any quantity but this "proper PM's" has got me going.

I will try not to ask too many stupid questions at first, i will try to search for the answeres within this forum, but however if you do come across one of my stupid questions, please it may be stupid to you but im only just starting out and have so much to learn.

all the best
be lucky

wellcome islander... i am from behind the corner and you will find quite few people here from england too. all who know will try to help you, for start get copy of hoke book /f.e. from my signature/ and study hard. nice reading.

Cheers PATNOR for your warm welcome, and of course the Hoke book which has now been downloaded and i will begin to read this tonight
Your from Limerick eh, my family are originally from Wexford
all the best mate

Thanks... as you can see from my english, that is not my first language. I am living in limerick last 6 years but I am originally from slovak republic. I will go to england for short trip as I cant get any HCl here. It is unbelievable but no acids here to buy. In my country you can get that in any DIY shop without question asked.

We have one member on here from somewhere in the country side of France who i had to buy and mail a box of coffee filters to so he would have something to use.

Go figure :p :p :p I've got more coffee filters than i know what to do with. Somewhere else in the world people are doing without.

By the way, What's the deal with coffee over there. :p :p :p

hehe.... got pack in work. lady in canteen was wandering what happened with them... so she got another box from wholeseller...

I am amazed you would admit that, let alone with glee to people you may wish to do business with in the future.

hehe... it is too harsh comment. might be it looks to you not good but next time ill try to write whole story.
I did not steal them, if I did so I am not going to write about it. My english is probably the cause that people did not understand what I mean.
When our place was being closed down we got various things rest went to skip. I took filters and when she saw me taking them she was asking why I need them. You can not buy them in shop, only small ones but not that bigger for say "industrial scale" machines... I told her she did not believe me anyway saying there cant be gold in computer but she ordered box of them for me. For 20 euro now I have lifetime supply.
Sorry for causing mixed feelings.

was: ... so she got another box from ....
and should be ... so she got me another box from ...
sometimes I am too fast nad not thinking properly. but english is my secon language, or third I can say... thanks Oz that you spotted that, dont want to look like ***** here.

I was just surprised to see it the way it read. I can understand the language problem as I have lived in foreign countries as well. Nice to hear you are not a thief.
