Hello , Im a millwright by trade and into a little of everything form Tesla coils to Gem stone hunting , newb to the gold refining i just did my first failed attempt at Aqua Regina i sucessfully dissolved the gold but had issues on the recovery portion , iv got a lot of reading to do!

Welcome to the forum.

Read Hoke's book. If you're using aqua regia (there is no aqua regina) improperly, you're not going to enjoy much success. It's all in Hoke.
