Hi everyone. I'm new here. Really happy to have found this board. There are a lot of intelligent helpful members here. My interest in refining came about when I was handed a dixie cup of screws from a decommissioned plating machine for my birthday. I thought that was nice but put them aside for awhile. When I pulled them back out and started looking into ways of getting from here to there, I realized I needed help. So, here I am.

In a prior life, I owned a company that performed maintenance on industrial equipment. One of my customers was a scrap yard. ALL of their scrap was broken down into the non-precious categories. The computers, etc ended up with the lawnmowers. If I knew then ....

P.S. I am not sure on the etiquette of mentioning suppliers of chemicals on here. It took me a couple days to track down a chemical house that sold retail and was local. When I got there, I was most impressed. Short of a melting dish, a torch and a hood, they had everything needed. I'll leave it at that.

Laser Steve's web site is another place that you will want to visit.

The forum handbook is also a great guide.

Getting a education under your belt before jumping into deep water will help you swim this river.

You have found the best place (this forum) to learn this from NO BULL.
