Hello my name is Aljaž, I am 22 years old and have around 8 years of experiences with chemicals, also study chemistry, Im somewhat of a hoarder and have accumulated some electronics... maybe a ton, but plan to expand this and gather much more, but all in due time...
I have some experiences in yielding gold flakes from gold fingers and purifying it to 24K, but I would like to know more, mostly other precious metals such as ruthenium, yttrium, palladium...
My hobby is 3D printing and robotics (artificial limbs 3d printed with sensors and motion motors), I also spent many time on alternative energy (photovoltaics) which was my first business attempt but lack of personal capital and the global recession made is almost impossible, but that"s years ago...
Dont know what else to say about me...
Anyway I would like to thank you all for this impressive forum! So much information in one place... :)

Alajaz welcome to the forum.
There's tons of information here on the forum to help you so keep reading and studying, you can learn so much to help you be successful, good luck.

Welcome to the forum.

I'd leave ruthenium (and it's sister osmium) to the professionals who are equipped to deal with them. Platinum salts are also quite hazardous. Safety first.

Thank you nickvc for the warm welcome!

FrugalRefiner I red that it is a very hazardous process, I will learn as much as I can before going to the process of ruthenium. I would be needing ruthenium (large quantities (5kg)) for the Fischer-Thropsch process (it is used as a catalyst) of converting synthetic gas to synthetic oil. But as the prices of oil are so low this days I am planing to do this in a year or two, so for now just gathering info :)
