Hello all, I was researching about gold online and stumble into this great site. Down the line, after some research of course, I want to try "refining" old jewelry into 24k. What do you guys recommend I use to check the purity of the jewelry? Are the electronic ones accurate? I want to also read up on ways to extract other metals from the said old jewelry and how its done. Any recommendation for a newbie? Link and book titles would be very very much appreciated. Of course I would also be reading up on posts in the forum to educate myself of refinement methods, etc... Thanks and have a great day everyone.
