'Hello' from SoCal

Hello all,

I joined the forum several weeks ago, and have been trying to read, learn, and absorb as much as I can before attempting to take my first jump off the refining springboard. I recently purchased Hoke's book and I'm anxious to get through it, and like some other newbies, I'm a bit apprehensive of working with some of the refining chemicals, as it has been a very long time since I have done so. I live in the southern California and I would be very interested to meet some of you in the area who may be able to share any words of wisdom before I take my first jump.

My hat's off to all the wonderful contributors that have made this forum possible! I wish I found you long before, but I am glad that I found you late than never at all!

As Harold would say, and I second his affirmation, it's a wise choice to get Hoke's book ! Read it carefully and if you have any questions, we'll be glad to answer
