Hello all, I am a pipe-fitter from south Carolina, I have recently been getting very serious about non ferrous scrap, and more importantly precious metal recovery.
Having a broadly metallurgy background as a welder I have always been aware of PM in various components but recently I have realized just how wasteful the mills I work at are, and that has spurred my interest in PM recovery.
I joined the board because I have gathered 10 POUNDS of cadmium silver contacts from industrial motor starter relays and breakers. I'm in the process of deciding whether I should refine this lot myself, or sell it to a refiner.
If someone here could point me towards a member that buys scrap silver that would be much appreciated.
Thanks all I look forward to interacting with you guys in the forums.
