Hello new to precious metal recovery and refining. ohio

Hello my name is Brandon I am 30 years old from Ohio. I recently started getting into escrap recovery and refining gold. I work as a mechanic so chemistry isn't my strong point. I have been researching for 3 months now and collecting material. With one failed refining run under my belt. I have since decided to not refine because of the danger involved. I am into just about anything with motors and the outdoors with a serious case of gold fever. Looking for local experienced refiners to talk to and maybe one day partner up with. But for now I am just looking to meet and talk with others and learn.

Welcome to the forum. There are quite a few Buckeyes on here, spread throughout the state. Where are you in Ohio (in general terms)? I'm in the Southwest corner (Cincinnati area).
