Hello everybody...

I'm alvin from Melbourne, Australia. Originally from Singapore though.

I've been stacking silver and gold for awhile (came from silvertstackers.com) :)

But thought about why not "mine" for my own gold in my free time, and though, as a chemical engineering student, i dont really have much free time, it really is quite addictive reading about refining the shiny stuff. I've started on hoke for now, but am also seeking e-waste to hoard till i am ready.

also hoping that this hobby could strengthen my portfolio and help me make an easier entry into metallurgical engineering.

I'm also a huge fan of japanese performance cars, although that has nothing to do with this forum. hahaaha

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Hoke is a very engaging book, in fact, so engaging that its taking up more of my time than it's supposed to. I've had to resort to putting it away till 3 weeks later.

Hi Alvin,

Eugene here from Singapore. Recently the government has waived GST on international hallmark gold 99.5% above purity.

I think it's the right time to set up a refinery in Singapore. What do you think?

Cheers
Eugene

interesting. i knew a eugene from the army...

that's assuming you can get enough free electronic waste to refine, personally, i don't think its a bad idea, but the whole getting your name out there and competing with our government for scrap is going to be a huge task
