First of all i would like to thank you all for sharing your knowledge so freely, and for allowing new people like me to view the posts.
My name is Ricardo and i live in Portugal, and here the subject off this forum its nearly unknown , which i believe to be a good thing for me, i have tried to refine gold from computer parts last year and i did it, i managed to refine 0,4grs of gold from a few processors.
Besides that i am also a metal detector user( which in my godforsaking country its ilegal)and( I own a garret 2500 gti and a XP goldmaxx power)
If anyone here likes old coins and detecting you can visit the forum prospectoresdeportugal.com
Sorry for any error y might have writen, if anyone sees an error here and can correct me , it should do it because i will honestly be gratefull
My congratulations to all for having such a nice forum.

Sorry for the belated welcome, Ricardo. Very pleased to see you onboard.

I have very fond memories of buying a nice Rosé wine from Portugal many years ago. It was sold in the State of Utah under the name Vinya.

You've come to the right place for learning to refine precious metals. Please do yourself a favor and download a copy of Hoke's book, Refining Precious Metal Wastes. It will help you understand the basic processes involved, plus introduce you to lab ware and chemicals. The book is written in simple, easy to understand terms. You can find a link in the sig lines of many of the readers.
