Hi there,
My name is Tim, and I currently attend ASU in pursuit of a degree in mechanical engineering: however, more recent voyages into the realm of chemistry have begun to influence my decision of a major. My interest in precious materials began when I was deployed to Afghanistan, and there I learned about "Lapis" from locals who mined the precious stone. My dreams of having counter-tops made of lapis diminished as I returned to the states. At this time silver prices had begun to sky rocket, and that was when I begun to invest most of my free time into buying and selling silver coins. I've never been a silver man though, and one look at a deceitful Youtube video which claimed how easy it is to recover gold was all it took to get me to where I am today.
Boy were those videos wrong, it has taken me some time to pull my head out of my butt and actually follow the instructions I should have when I got my first butt chewing over a ridiculous post. Though I am at an age which is stuck between two different generations, the lack of patients which is instilled in today's generation has been costly, and I am certain I have washed away at least an oz of gold :(
So, I've decided to put away my mantle, condensers, boiling flasks, nitrates, oxides, drainos, and even my Ho-Ho's. Rather than skim through the pages of Hooke's book thinking I have grasped all the knowledge needed for recovering gold I am humbly opening my brain aside from school work in order to be successful. Though my most recent reading was regarding the use of Diglyme in gold extraction, and it has led me to believe that there will be no quick way to be successful in gold recover.
Anyways thank you for your time in reading my introduction and I hope to learn from you soon!

Sincerely,
Pyr0b00ze
