Hello all,

My name is danny. I am a hobbyist reclaimer/refiner from Virginia. I am new here other than lurking.
Few things to state:
I have printed and read C.M. Hoke.
I have waste buckets/treatment in place.
I have and make stannous.
I have known gold solution.

That out of the way I generally have e-waste as a source. I would like to get into more karat jewelry and such.

All said I am new to this and have had some successful and not so experiences.

I look forward to learning and sharing knowledge here.

Thanks, Danny

Welcome to us.
It is good to see that you are prepared.
Sourcing material is the thing most struggle to do.

Here is some more I like you to study

The book from C.M. Hokes on refining jewelers scrap, here on the forum is slightly redacted to remove some dangerous procedures and added warnings. So if you have another version I'd recommend downloading this one too. It will in any case give an easy introduction to the most important chemistry regarding refining. Screen Readable Copy of Hoke's Book
2. Then read the safety section of the forum: Safety
3. And then read about "Dealing with waste" in the forum: Dealing with Waste

Suggested reading: The Library

Thanks,
I have done so already while observing. Always willing to take advice or reference/rereference material.

A small amount of gold from a nearby creek. Also sulfamic to denox if needed and or for lead.
