Hi, I'm Dennis, I'm from the UK.
I'm into rescuing gold, and all other metals from e-waste. I'm fairly new to the process so I'm looking for knowledge, guidance, and answers to more specific questions. I found this forum while searching for answers to a question that hadn't been answered by the hundreds of Youtube videos I've watched.
I'll be searching the forum before I start posting to make sure they haven't been answered already.

Welcome.

We always prefer that our members to study before they start doing chemistry.
Here is for that part.

1. Read C.M. Hokes book on refining jewelers scrap, it gives an easy introduction to the most important chemistry regarding refining.
It is free here on the forum: Screen Readable Copy of Hoke's Book
2. Then read the safety section of the forum: Safety
3. And then read about "Dealing with waste" in the forum: Dealing with Waste

Suggested reading: The Library

I've jumped the gun on that a little, but it's only a very small test run.
I've download the C.M. Hoke book, I've been reading the Safety section, and I've read the dealing with waste thread. This forum has such great resources! Thank you Yggdrasil.
