Hi everyone. My name is David. I am as noob as anyone who ever wrote on this forum. My interest is in refining scrap jewelry. As of now it is only interest. I have the Hoke pdf and am reading it and a lot on the forum. I am not a chemist and not real sure I want to deal with the fumes/waste ect... I will continue to read and decide if I will try. The concept interests me a lot.
I am an electronics tech and live in Florida.
There isn't much info on the ishor simplicity that I have found here so far. I have looked at it and like the idea of no toxic waste/fumes. If what they say is in fact the truth. Someone posted read the forum and you will know why. So I read....
Let me say thanks to all that post and reply. There are many many hours cool reading here. I want to try it but don't want to screw up the gold or kill myself in the process.
So I research and read........

Thanks again.
David

Welcome to the forum.
The gold will always be there. There is not much you can do to hurt it. The only way to lose it is to throw it away. On the other hand. . . . .your health can go in a jiffy. Take the time to read and understand what is what before launching into what might sound like fun, only to have it turn disasterous because of a lack of preparation. Your health is worth more than gold. Have fun.
Rick
