Hi there,

I just wanted to say hi, and thank this forum, all of the experts, and members. It's nice to see a forum with a ton of quality information without a bunch of politics, bickering, or childish games.

Thank You

Cheers,

Levi

Welcome to the forum Levi.
As one of our founders said we try to be men and women of science and maintain a professional approach to this subject. We stress safety first and foremost not just ours but our families, pets, neighbours and the environment and we actively discourage discussions that include politics or religion.
Take the guided tour here on the forum and pay particular attention to the safety section, download and read C.M.Hoke it's free and spend some time searching the forum for threads that may be helpful, most if not all topics that refer to recovery and refining have been discussed here and openly and many times so please search, top right of your screen before asking questions, but if you can't find or don't understand a point ask and you will get replies if you show your already reading and studying, yes we will know.

Hi nickvc,

Thanks for the welcome.

What you posted is definitely appreciated. I think I am personally a ways a away from attempting to refine myself. I have almost always appreciated metals, PM's in particular.

I am amazed at what I have personally thrown away in the past. In the early 90's, I used to haul away abandoned items and junk left behind at rental properties. Back then, there was almost no E Waste recycling or recovery widely available. At the time, all I was ever aware of, was that no dead computers or parts were worth anything.

I love this forum's network of people. I haven't been here that long, but have participated in other forums with different subject matters; inventing, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), art, physics, and reading at Kitco. I think this place has the best code of conduct I have seen so far. 8)

I still run across some stuff every now and then, jewelry included. I will probably keep reading, collecting more material, and offer trades with what I come up with when I can.

Thank you again.

It's much appreciated

Levi
