Hi all
Anyone have process to check pd,pt in cyanide solution

First of all a cyanide solution can not be tested with stannous

So - you ether has to test it (the solution) with ether ICP ----

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inductively_coupled_plasma
Or AA

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomic_absorption_spectroscopy
The only other way (at least that I know of) would be to take a small sample of the solution - drop all the metals out with zinc or aluminum - then melt the dropped metals into a button & test the metal button with XRF

I have heard about a method based on HydrazineHydrate and one other component. It is supposed to work for these untestable leaches as CN and HypoChlorite.
I have never used or seen it myself.
Maybe search for Hydrazine indicator or similar can give more info?
