Hunting for gold in Northern Ontario Canada

Hi everyone,

Just joined today. I am interested in learning about how to prospect for gold in Ontario, Canada.
There are a lot of commercial and small mining operations already in the area. I am looking for ways to start a small operation.
I would like to know what this would entail in terms of costs and expertise. It is very easy to stake a claim. I was wondering
if there would be anyone interesting in joining me in this venture. I know this sounds like a grandiose scheme,
but what the heck, we all have to start from somewhere. The scrap gold market is already saturated to the hilt!

Once you "find" the gold, the type of gold, and the type of host rock, will dictate how you must recover it.
Then it's just a matter of economic feasability.
