Here are my current prices for memory. 1lb of 1GB DDR ram will equate to roughly 70/lb. If you are interested in selling, I just ask you send me a message and I will send you over an excel spreadsheet that you can put your amounts into. Then when you ship your package, put this sheet in as a packing list. I can pay via Paypal or company check.

Where are we to ship the RAM to?

i am guessing we would send it to the internet, who is this person & will anyone ever see them again & will anyone ever get paid.

looks like another hit & run advert.

you can get good resell prices from your local computer shops or put a ad on kijiji / craigslist.

my kids sell my used computer parts, they get 50% of all sales

Kingston 4GB 800MHZ DDR2 Sodimm (laptop ram)
Price: CDN$ 72.48 retail, i sell for $35.00

Maybe Zach should have put his contact info here as well, but he certainly is not going to be a "hit and run". He doesn't post a lot, but if you search his few other posts, you'll find him. I've sold to Zach before and been plenty satisfied. I'm going to have to go check the RAM that I have in house now...

oh.......

its good you introduced them, as for me i have no idea who they are, they should know to post the right info by now if they have been here for 4 years under another board name.

as a business they should post in Refiners, Buyers, Assayers, etc. section.

look at the post again & tell us if it does not look like its still a hit and run advert.

all i see is "give me ram, i give you money"

Necromancer,

Why so defensive? I failed to give some vital info and apologize.

Yes my name is Zack with Component Level Recycling,Inc. I was co-owner of Escrap but my partner and I decided to head separate ways.

As far as putting this in the right section, I am indeed wanting something correct? I feel as though this was the proper section.

Here is where all packages should be shipped. I have also provided my direct line for anyone interested.

Zac,

Welcome to the forum,

It may seem a bit confusing but but the wanted section was not intended for soliciting business, it was intended for members to put out there what they are looking for with the hope that other members could supply it. But it seems to have evolved into solicitation for work rather than another member selling a gallon of nitric.

We do have the "Refiners, Buyers, Assayers etc." section where you can identify yourself and post your rates and all pertinent information. You can even name your thread your company name so anyone can find it and post links to your website. Eventually we would like to have a who's who of refining related services in that section. If you ever do need a small quantity of nitric you can post your wants here but for solicitation of business please use the proper section.

Good luck and I hope it works out for you.

nice to meet you zack, sorry if you are insulted but the op was very bland. you never know "what's what" unless its clear

since your a recognized member (with a new name) i would like to apologize, hope you see my point.
it was a simple reaction to what (to me) looked like a spam message.

Dave,

Not a problem. I can see your passion about keeping the integrity of the forum, which is a good thing. It was the end of the day yesterday and it was one of those last minute things, my mind is blown by 4. Haha.

PM sent two months ago but still no answer.

I've got a couple of hundreds 1Gbyte DDR2 and DDR3 modules for sale. Any one else want to buy them?

I have used a couple of them to upgrade some machines and I have never run into a broken one.
Pulled from scrapped computers from the local hospital. I have a friend that destructs the disks before the computers are shipped and he pulls the ram for me.

as a side note to anyone interested in selling memory for reuse, please make sure your sticks are the correct size.
If it's written 2G on the stick, followed by the mention "kit of 2", that means you are holding a 1G stick in your hands, and they were sold in pairs...

cheers,

Alex
