Hi everyone!
I'm new to this forum. I've just started reading post after post after post! so much info here and everywhere else online. I don't know where to start! My whole idea getting into this was to buy scrap PM and then refine it to more pure metal. I already have silver jewelry, old silverware and utensils, and possibly a coin or two. I also have collected a lot of old computer parts from my hobby of building PCs. With all this material and so many methods of extracting, separating, purifying, with chemicals, electrolysis, and cupellation. I REALLY don't know where to start. Given my high school chemistry class was about a decade ago, I'm foggy on that stuff. I can understand and probably apply the electrolysis theory and practice, and cupellation seems easy but more of an art. Anybody want to help point me in the right direction(s)? Thanks for being here and making up an awesome forum!
