Hello Guys,

Just saying Hi to everyone - I'm sticking around, just so long as the forum will have me.
I've made some mistakes, already but generally - I'm a good girl, at least when I'm asleep...

I have already heard from a few members with regard to help with dissolving dental gold, thank you for your help, I will endevour to take your valued advice

Welcome to the group Lisa,

I don't know if you have seen the post New Member Answers I have been making that is linked to in my signature. Nothing there yet about dental gold but there are a lot of links to good information in that post. My hope was that it would save members time when trying to find the links to important and useful information. It's a work in progress but already it has a lot of links there. I keep searching the forum looking for good information and try to post links in that thread for things I think will be useful to other members.

I'm also keeping a "notebook" (actually a word processor file) with copied and pasted information that I want to keep for my own use. I originally thought I could share that file but it just got too big and not very organised and likely wouldn't be much use for anyone else but me. I know others here also keep notes of useful posts and I'd suggest you do the same. It's hard enough finding the information once. It's nice to have it saved on your own computer (or even a real notebook) just in case you forget it or want to refresh your memory.

Welcome and hope you find what you wish to learn.
Could you add what part of the UK you are hiding in. Hopefully no dangerous part.

All of us are from around the world so getting a better idea of where we live helps alot with rules, regulations and the laws should the need arise. Also you might find members close to you that wouldn't mind a day trip to share and see.

Not enough information so we could see you waving to us from Google Earth but enough we know what town or close you are.

For instance, I live in Denver...Pennsylvania, USA. It's about an hour from where George Washington took several dumps 1 long and cold winter that made our history.

Come to find out, there are alot of members within 4 hours of me. Gives me an idea how small the world really is in the vast scheme of things.

I am from Luton, Bedfordshire which is about 30 miles from London. Luton is a cultural melting pot, and it's a abit like marmite, you either love it, or hate it. Although people not from Luton, arrive here and stay, people grown here, usually can't wait to leave..

I would like to talk to refiners, nearby - its always good to bounce ideas, but someone not to near....lol

Hi Lisa,

I'm in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

I recently decided to pretty much give up on processing eScrap and concentrate on Dental Scrap.

A colleague that i'm working with has a daughter that runs 14 dental practices and a lab, so we have a steady stream of scrap to play with.

It's still early doors for us too in this project but we are slowly making progress.

As you say, it would be good to bounce ideas around

Hiya Buzz,

I think a good decision to give up e-waste. That was the road, I initially thought to go down but when when trying e-waste suppliers via alibaba and such, I came across alot of fraudulent-so-called sellers. I did found only two reputable ones, one in the UK the other in Dublin. I asked questions about ceramic cpu weights, sourced from info in the public domain and their info didn't tally. One guy tried to convince me that I would get x5 cpu in the kilgogram...

You have a good contact there, with your dental labs, good luck and hope everything is profitable and safe.
I do need some help with scrubbers, but gonna try and hit the books before crying for help. I have a ductless fume cabinet, on its way but I still want to use it outdoors, in some kind of shelter.

I am finding it impossible to find legit suppliers of CPU's. I am willing to offer $250 to anyone who introduces us to a real supplier, preferably in UK, or Europe. If order taken and completed to delivery, we will reward with $250.
We would be looking for 16 tons a month and will want an initial trial order of 50KG.
