Hi folks. My name is Jack. I've been a gold prospector for many years. I joined this site in 2011 and got side tracked from my pursuit of pcb recycling. I have experience moderating a message board with 100k plus members related to my career in the tile business. With that said I will read before asking stupid questions. I've been collecting pcb's and other components. I also have a friend who is a member here who has managed to successfully learn how to refine with the knowledge within these walls. I hope to learn first hand from him as well by reading here. Just a shout out to introduce myself... again, and a big thanks to those who share knowledge. I do it myself in my own field of expertise and just wanted you all to know I appreciate it. Thank you

Thank you. I've been reading through the site tour thread. I understand this is serious business and I'm currently reading Hoke via pdf. I've been depopulating pcb's and segregating components. My friend told me to simply save every thing. I know of a few basic parts. Gold fingers, processors, tantalum, ic chips, palladium etc. So I will continue to read here and learn. No refining until the end of summer when my friend comes home. Its nice to read and chat online but there is a lot to be said for in person conversations, the amount of seriousness impressed in a statement. I'll collect until then...and try not to smoke while I'm depopulating.
