Hello everyone,hope all is well.I am Lesetsa from South Africa Johannesburg,I recently stumbled upon a mine dump(about 14 years old,map evidence suggests it's from 2010)I expect alot of heavily oxidized material.I have a knowledge about chemistry,newbie when it comes to mineralogy and really open to suggestions and feedback on all that I share.
After some research and tests,I have found that there is copper,iron,silver,gold,nickel and some cobalt.These are seperate and are all lying in the same area.
I am not an expert and really intrigued to learn from the master's.sometimes I experiment and see if does a process circuit work or not,I
I am currently processing the ore, so far I have removed the copper and stockpile the leach residue,very fine material suitable for panning and some small, medium chunks.the copper is cemented and add a carbonate to produce sludge after copper cementation.
I will post pictures of the ore I am dealing with and some pictures of my the fines,small chunks,leach pad,tailings ponds and reprocessing acid pond tomorrow.
