Adding the required hydrochloric to this will make "poor mans' AR.
-or-
Adding the correct amount of sulfuric acid will make nitric acid.

Assuming it is sodium nitrate, it should work as advertised. But.....following the instructions will be the same as
pre-mixing AR. That means, you'll probably have to deNOx your solution every time. That's why we don't recommend pre-mixing AR, it's a waste of reagents.
