i took apart a comp and see sum wht looks like gold on boards and wht not , in side the hard drive there is a disk tht looks like silver wot is this?, and sum conectors on sum boards look like gold , the one with metal pins like a scart lead but gold lookin,, do tvs have anythink in and old dvd players and video player and radios and phones to ,basicly anythink with chips and boards, the gold lookin pins on a hard drive are they gold?

the computer tower circuit boards do contain gold . theres also other pms as well . the pins yourasking about is platted in gold. its platted over copper . tvs dont have any pms radios do notas well , cell phones do have a bit of gold . as far as your fruit machine you'll need to take it apart and post a pic or at least decribe exatly what you see in there .

Hi uksmoker,

The disk inside the hard drive may have a tiny amount of platinum depending on how old (or new) it is.

The pins that you are seeing are very lighted plated gold. I save them until i have about 2lbs in weight and then process them to get the gold plate.

Nothing of value in TV's except copper really. Too may nasties in them for me to bother with them.

The early electronic fruit machines can have some very interesting boards in them. I had one given last year and there was a lot of chips and cards in there. The chips, when crushed, can give up gold, silver, platinum or palladium.

ill take the fruitmachine apart tomoz and rip the boards out and try and get sum pics up , but wont be very gud as probly be usein phone or webcam , chears for replys kev

and also i see a lot ov talking about sum board having gold inside them and crushing them is best to get it out wud it be ok to crush them to store them as well insted of pileing them up i cud just have a bag ovdust, chears
